| Press Releases ICMA ANNOUNCES DATES FOR SPRING WORKSHOPS —Workshops to Be Held in St. Louis, Missouri, and Rome, Italy — The first workshop will be held on April 18-19, 2007, in Rome, Italy and will be chaired by Thomas Ehm of Novo Cardtechnology. The second of the workshops will be held June 12-13, 2007, in St. Louis, Missouri, United States and will be chaired by Bill Crawford of Waytek. The topics are based on feedback from previous workshops and will cover a range of subjects relevant to each region including material durability, lamination techniques, personalization selection, printing technologies and innovation. Open to members only, the Spring ICMA Academy workshops are designed to give a unique learning experience on the many challenges currently present in the plastic card industry. Speakers will bestow their personal experiences and hopes for the future of the industry. They include but are not limited to, representatives from CompoSecure, Datacard, Digicard, Eclipse Laboratories, KBA-Metronic and Rocheux International. As in previous years, this year’s workshops will include table top displays. The displays allow suppliers to gain exposure to potential clients, as they can feature company products and/or product literature. The sessions will also include a networking dinner, which will allow members to interact with each other and exchange ideas, products, literature and other pertinent information. “I am looking forward to chairing this year’s workshop. They are a great way for members to receive new channels of information and network with other professionals in the market,” said Bill Crawford of Waytek. “These workshops enable ICMA to provide members with extensive training on a variety of topics in one central location in both the US and Europe,” Stated Jeffrey E.
