CMA's Regional Events in North America and Europe were both a huge success, achieving the best attendance in over five years with almost 120 attendees and 75 attendees respectively. The North American Workshop, held September 19-20, 2012 in Chicago, Illinois, played host to quality speakers who discussed topics that were current, educational and controversial, hitting home with attendees throughout North America. Again this year, ICMA provided its exhibitors with an opportunity to discuss their products or services during its Product Showcase. All 10 exhibitors raved about this feature as another way for them to get directly in front of potential customers. The EuroForum held October 16-17 in Munich featured similar highlights and six exhibiting companies.

ICMA also introduced new interactive roundtable sessions during both events. Led by moderators, these discussions received a high level of participation and gave attendees the opportunity to analyze and explore current and future card market dynamics as well as the path-forward trends, and innovations. Overall, feedback on the Workshop and EuroForum was very positive and ICMA looks forward to bigger and better events next year.
