Sales Person in the Print or Plastic Card Industry

A very solid Plastic Card Manufacturer has recently established business in Florida.

We are currently seeking a Sales Manager for our rapidly growing and profitable business. The position is for our Miami office.

The Sales Manager has a great deal of experience in the plastic card and / or RFID industry. The Regional Sales Manager will be a resourceful, well-connected results-driven entrepreneur responsible for the growth and success of our business in USA.

The position will be responsible for:

  • Driving revenue growth particularly through the development of new opportunities.
  • Creating and executing strategic and tactical plans to grow sales
  • Detecting and initiating new sales processes and business opportunities in the market.
  • Managing sales processes.
  • Conducting continuous negotiation processes with business organizations and governments.
  • Building strong and good relations with customers through mutual interests
  • Creating and proposing new product ideas for the region,
  • Ability to interact with team members in other countries.

The person:

  • Preferably a Bachelors degree.
  • A Minimum 3 years experience as salesperson for plastic card
  • Well connected within the card market.
  • Strong Background in selling products related to the card or print industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal relations.
  • Fluent in Portuguese is a must but not required

Operations Manager

The Operations Manager provides leadership and direction to the plant in areas of production including administration, operations, maintenance, packaging, scheduling, sanitation, process improvement, quality, purchasing, safety and environmental. He/she works with the VP of Operations as the liaison between Henderson Operations and other departments including Sales, IT, Corporate, and State and Federal Regulatory Personnel.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Leading the overall activities of the manufacturing team to achieve daily/weekly/monthly/yearly goals, meet production needs and client expectations

Includes:
- hiring, training, coaching, motivating, disciplining, and terminating team members in accordance with established policies and procedures to maximize efficient production operations and utilization of human resources
- Administer and maintain team member time and attendance records, production reports, assembly and process instructions, safety documentation, and all other operational related documentation and tools.

• Develop and maintain a collaborative and empowered work environment where open and transparent communication is encouraged.
• Develop and maintain a team member driven culture of 5-S and kanban principles.
• Develop and implement strategies for most effective use of materials, machines, and employees.
• Working in conjunction with Process Improvement, Customer Service, Finance, IT, and Technology departments to maximize production capabilities, minimize scrap, and encourage continuous improvement.
• Set standards for production efficiency. Review production costs and product quality, and modify production processes to maintain and enhance profitable operations.
• Ensure team members receive appropriate training for their job, as well as comprehensive safety training and compliance with all federal, state and company requirements. Participate in implementing effective team member development programs.
• Ensure all manufacturing equipment and facilities are properly maintained and remain in efficient operating order.
• Recommend and participate in capital improvements and expansions.
• Develop and implement innovative process improvements
• Managing the manufacturing process by analyzing and reviewing pertinent information and providing input toward budgeting, variance management, and reports
• Maintain world class quality standards for all team members, products, and processes with a continuous focus on safe working practices and providing outstanding service to our clients to continue to maintain our leadership position
• Responsible for expense management and control, including material, labor, and overhead costs utilization
• Ensures that Standard Operating Procedures are developed and maintained for all aspects of the Production Operation.
• Provides Leadership of team members directly or through area team leaders to ensure effective selection, retention, development, disciplinary action and performance management. Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills/Experience:
• A minimum of 5 years hands-on plant experience in plastic card print/personalization/fulfillment industry operations, with a minimum of 2-3 years of supervisory experience.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing Practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and computer-based applications.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs; ability to lead others through change.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Skilled in organization and prioritization, and attention to detail.
• Strong team player and leader with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines.
• Ability to select, coach, develop, engage, and retain a team of employees.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 5+ years relevant solution/consultative sales experience in selling plastic cards in the retail or hospitality markets is absolutely required
  • Established senior level contacts within mid-to large-size clients
  • Demonstrated and consistent success at exceeding ambitious revenue targets
  • Combination of large and small company experience is preferred
