The Regional Sales Manager  has a great deal of experience in the plastic card and / or RFID industry. The Regional Sales Manager will be a resourceful, well-connected results-driven  entrepreneur responsible for the growth and success of our business in  Mexico, Panama, Venezuela, Colombia and Peru.

The position will be responsible for
:

  • Driving revenue growth particularly through the development of new opportunities.
  • Creating and executing strategic and tactical plans to grow sales
  • Detecting and initiating new sales processes and business opportunities in the market.
  • Managing sales processes.
  • Conducting continuous negotiation processes with business organizations and governments.
  • Building strong and good relations with customers through mutual interests
  • Understanding the needs of the local customer base, specific market requirements and competitive trends and using that knowledge to generate growth.
  • Creating and proposing new product ideas for the region,
  • Ability to interact with team members in other countries.

The person:

  • Preferably a Bachelors degree.
  • A Minimum 5 years experience in a senior position in Sales.
  • Well connected within the card market.
  • Strong Background in selling products related to the card industry.
  • High business skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal relations.
  • Spanish and fluent English is required.

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Manager, Supplies Development in our
Card Printer Solutions business unit located in Camarillo, CA.
POSITION PURPOSE

Develop and manage Supplies Business activity for the Card Printer division.
• Overall leadership of entire Supplies Organization
• Develop the supplies roadmap working with product managers
• Deliver media, laminate and card products on roadmap by identifying and creating strategic partnerships
• Manage and respond to supplies portion of RFP's
• Contribute to the development of marketing/sales collateral for all supplies products.
• Proactive role is assisting RSM's in up-selling additional value-added supplies into their existing accounts
• P&L analysis and management
• Deliver supplies growth results through proactive and well planned quarterly incentives and special discount programs.
• Work closely with Worldwide Regional Sales Managers to identify and understand regional market requirements.
• Negotiate prices for supplies products with Asian and European Suppliers.
• Monitor, Track, and respond to any changes in supplies pricing strategies of our major competitors.
• Pricing, product offering, end of life, and distribution issue management

SUPERVISES
Will directly supervise Supplies Product Specialists, and have management responsibilities for entire Supplies cross functional team members (QA Engineer, Materials Engineer, Buyer/Planner).

RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL
Overall business management for the CPS Supplies segment. Development and implementation of product strategies and tracking of successes and failures in media initiatives.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Business development for new Supplies offerings
2. Budget proposals and management including CPS Supplies P&L and project budgeting
3. Planning new media, laminate and card products
4. Create strategic partnerships with suppliers

  • Minimum Bachelors degree, MBA Preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of Senior Level Management experience managing a multi-million dollar business.
  • Product Management and Business Development experience with Supplies offerings in a consumables business setting preferred.
  •  Knowledge of dye-sublimation printing a plus.
  • Must have excellent verbal and writing skills.
  • Must be able to prepare and present clear and effective presentations.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills; the ability to effectively prioritize activities on an individual basis.
  • Must have strong leadership skills.
  • Budget development and management, MS Office, MS Project, P&L management

POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Vice President of Operations, this position is responsible for all operations within the facility to include PVC and Digital Card Production, Printing, Production Support, Production Control, Industrial Engineering, Warehousing, Cardroom and/or Vault, Shipping, Facility Maintenance, Technical Maintenance, Security and other related or assigned functions for the local or overall organization.

• Provide strategic vision, lead process change, revamping the way of doing things, resetting the company’s vision. Adopting Company’s best practices in process against the other locations to achieve objectives.

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
• Development, operation, and administration in all areas of assignment. Through joint consideration and planning, determine, formulate, and establish goals, budgets, policies and practices, pertinent to operations on a long/short-term basis for General Manager and parent company approval.
• Knowledge and use of lean practices is essential in all areas.
• Through delegation of responsibilities, application of motivating techniques, administration of manager controls, implement sound and effective programs to accomplish established objectives and profit goals.
• Coordinate various functions with managers on matters such as but not limited to, task and project assignments; review of periodic performance statistics and budgets; investigation of alternatives operation methods and recommending alternative approaches and plans; expediting of activities; scheduling and capacity planning of work between/among plant operations; expansion of facilities and acquiring of capital equipment; major repairs, overhauls, and plant layout; and 3rd party negotiations.
• Consult with, advise, direct, and coordinate the activities of various departments to assist managers in achieving full and timely objectives.
• Make periodic visits to all company locations to resolve problems and to aid in making decisions. Review reports relating to operations, analyze problems and opportunities and make recommendations to management.
• Champion the plant’s quality program to seek continuous improvement in the daily operations and service quality. Utilize trade journals, attend seminars, trade association business meetings and exhibits, and related to keep abreast of and well informed about industry, products, services, etc.
• Mentor supervisory and managerial staff to develop their tactical execution skills so the incumbent can concentrate on the development of strategic operational plans.
• Administer performance appraisals, salary, and compensation programs for subordinates.
• Incumbent is expected to be able to perform independent of supervision/technical assistance
• Superior operations skills and very broad knowledge of operations and production management technology and methodology.
• Technical and management problem solving is a major responsibility and often requires innovation, research, investigation, inquiry, analysis, and evaluation.
• Usually all necessary work information is not available and must be developed by the incumbent. Incumbent counsels, assists, and helps as needed.
• Regularly works with confidential data requiring care to protect. Comply with all policies, procedures, and work rule guidelines – administer complaint process and corrective action program where appropriate.
• The incumbent is expected to understand and perform all duties and tasks within his/her department or job and when assigned, in any other department or job to the best of his/her individual skill and ability.
• This may include being assigned certain production tasks during work peak periods.
• This individual must be a team player that possesses a humanistic management approach that displays and advocates passion, accountability, courage, transparency, communication, and can lead change in a fast paced organization.

Education & Experience: A four year degree in industrial engineering, operations management, business management, or related is required and a graduate degree in business or operations is preferred. Up to ten years of manufacturing experience with 4 –6 years in mgmt or closely related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
