ICMA has awarded its 2012 Student Scholarship to Edward Kobey Ojeda, an employee of member company Arroweye Solutions. Ojeda is also a full time student at the College of Southern Nevada, with a major in Emergency Management Administration. In addition to his industry experience and studies, Ojeda serves in the Army National Guard, including having volunteered for extra duties such as a search and rescue team that reacts to all forms of natural disasters, keeping the community safe.
ICMA thanks all members who passed along the information about this scholarship to their employees. All member company employees and their family members are eligible. Watch next year, in July, for the application information to be distributed.
The purpose of this ICMA scholarship is to help support continued education and future excellence while also offering a benefit to member companies. Priority is given to member company employees and their families over non-member applicants.
Applicants were reviewed based on academic achievement, work experience, community service, activities and an essay.
ICMA is pleased, after over 20 years of making a difference in the card manufacturing industry, to have the opportunity to make a difference for the future.
